Ancient Siberia

Ancient Siberia is an indie project made by the Valga Games studio. This Survival Sandbox MMO takes place on a vast territory of 400 square kilometers. In the world of Great Tartary you can become anyone, either a merchant, an artisan, a warrior, or a bandit. Fights are also available both on land and sea. Features Great open worldThe World of Great Tartary includes the game map with a size of 400 square kilometers (at the moment about 100 square kilometers). Age-old forests, green valleys and ancient snowy mountains spread on its landscapes. You will be able not only explore lands, but also prowl sea spaces. But don’t forget about the weather! Even a sunny day can change into a rainy one or even in an awful snowstorm. Character upgradingFeature incomplete and planned to be implemented in the future.Your game begins with a child character which grows up and gets necessary skills (childhood will be able in full version). When you are a child, no one can kill you. But at the same time you will not be able to take part in PvP. Player's upgrading depends on the character's actions, such as sword fighting which boosts the swords play and so on. Also, you shouldn’t forget that after death players lose all loot, that they carried with them. Role-play systemEvery action affects the history of a character in the world of Ansiber. If you decide to find an easy prey and rob a merchant, you will become a thug, whose head will cost double price of skill points. Remember, that your actions can influence your future. Combat systemNon-target – that’s how we can characterize the combat system of Ansiber. Dodge and make different power attacks, train in one-handed or two-handed weapons. Water transportFeature incomplete and planned to be implemented in the future.Players have an opportunity to build ships, that can be used for carrying goods or taking part in the great battles. Characters will be able to seize a vessel and rob it. We are looking forward to integrate this feature in the nearest future. BuildingIn the world of Ancient Siberia you can choose a place for your future house by yourself, and it will become the main place to store your chests with useful stocks. The building system is easy for understanding, but you shouldn’t forget about taxes, preparing wood, and finding necessary equipment for work, cause survival genre has much in common with real life. World of magicIf artisan’s path is not for you, you can always ensure the knowledge of wizards and witchers. The Ancient Siberian world has its own system of magic runes, which give an opportunity to bewitch weapons, armors, and jewelry. Players also can try themselves in teleportation. All runes can be purchased or made by players, which requires a certain level of skills. Great craft possibilitiesOn appearing in the world of Ancient Siberia your character has to survive in severe conditions, where nothing is given by chance. Starting the game with minimal stocks, your have to put all your efforts into crafting useful equipments, powerful weapons and magic runes. Moreover, your character has to cook by themself! All this is possible thanks to well-developed crafting system. Social system Feature incomplete and planned to be implemented in the future.In the open world of Tartary a gamer has to socialize. Except of tradings with other characters you have an opportunity to join some clans and guilds, construct houses together and build trust with other players’ clans. Don’t forget that your house is under a reliable protection only if you can defend it physically. In the absence of the player the house could be broken down and robbed. Game's serversThere are 3 levels of server ranking system, which are easy, normal and hard. On the easy level time and mechanics of the game are more like arcade ones. On the hard servers gamers have to do all their best not to freeze to death at nights. Servers can support up to 250 players at the same time and we are going to increase this number up to 1000. Notably, that all players will be able to take part in battles simultaneously. History of the worldThe world od Ancient Siberia is based on the myths of Great Tatary, which spread from Ural to Alaska, Novaya Zemlya and Tibet. In this world player will meet characters and creatures whose prototypes we met in ancient Siberian legends. Players will be able to find many answers to world history with a help of ancient tablets, which can be found in the map key points. The story will be released in the nearest future. System of hidden questsFeature incomplete and planned to be implemented in the future. There is a great amount of hidden quests in the map. These quests aren't marked, but you should pay attention to the strange buildings and peculiar details of the surrounding world. If you are attentive and lucky, you can find a quest, complete it and be rewarded with unique outfit or arms. Hidden quests will be added in nearest future.
