About game
Every animal needs a home. You know how to build one. Habitat is a turn-based strategy game played on a hand-sculpted clay world. Each turn you draft animals and terrain, then place tokens on the hex board to grow the exact landscape each creature needs — a pig wants its farm and a splash of water; a heron wants the river bend to itself. Complete a pattern and the animal settles in, alive on your board from then on. The seasons keep turning. Spring rain, summer bloom, winter's bright hush — each season shifts what thrives, and phenomena like rainbows, monsoons and Starfall sweep across the land to bend your plans. Grow your knowledge. Unlock technologies, gather artifacts with strange old powers, chase milestones, and fill your compendium — a naturalist's journal spanning 49 animals and the history of biome artitself. Play it your way. A full solo game, or online with 2–4 players — invite Steam friends straight from the lobby.
