Players take on the role of a grandmother with hearing loss, on her last day in her hometown before her daughter takes her to the provincial capital for medical treatment. Before leaving, she bids farewell to her old friends. If I grow old one day, will I also imagine sounds like this?Approximately 5% of the global population suffers from disabling hearing loss, with the elderly facing a particularly severe problem. *Osmanthus Blossoms Fall* uses ambiguous text to simulate hearing loss, allowing players to truly feel its impact and experience life from the perspective of a contemporary elderly person in China. The world is quiet, but I can feel the presence of sound.People with acquired hearing loss often imagine sounds through vision. The grandmother, played by the player, can find corresponding sounds by observing dynamic images in the scene and uses the game's visual recording system to feel the presence of sound.
